Do people still wear suits to interviews?

Do people still wear suits to interviews? People who want to advance in their careers do!

Here are several reasons why both men and women should show up for job interviews wearing dark suits, white or light-colored shirts (with ties for men and shirts with collars for women):

– Dressing in traditional interview style shows that you take your interview, and the job, seriously — even if you’re applying for a job at a factory or fast food restaurant.

– Dressing informally for an interview closes doors to future promotions for you. Dress for the job you want eventually, or you’ll look like you’ll be satisfied staying at the same job level forever.

– Dressing professionally puts you in a better position for negotiating salary, benefits and terms. You’ll be taken more seriously.

– Professionally dressed job candidates are more likely to get hired! It’s as simple as that.
